This Homily reminds us of a simple truth: love God and love your neighbor. But we can only truly love when we realize we are loved first—by God and by others. Through Hosea and the Passion of Christ, we hear the call to return with humble hearts, praying, “Lord, have mercy.” As we reflect on His sacrifice, we begin to see how deeply He loves us, and that love helps us love others more.
