In this homily, we are reminded of the importance of listening and obeying God's word. Just as the split in the Kingdom of Israel resulted from disobedience, we are called to heed God's message. Jesus, through his healing of a deaf man, shows us how he can heal our divisions and open our ears to the truth of the Gospel.
