A Saint’s Past, a Sinner’s Future

Today’s readings place two powerful examples side by side: King Solomon, who began with great wisdom but slowly drifted away, and a humble mother whose faith moved the heart of Jesus. The contrast reminds us that following God is never something we can coast on — we must keep choosing humility and faith every day. At the same time, no one is beyond hope, because God can raise even a sinner into a saint. It’s both a warning and an encouragement to stay watchful, stay humble, and trust in God’s grace.
